Meet the 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Officer Team
Sophi Schultz, President
Sophi Schultz, daughter of Mike and Angie Schultz is currently a junior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. After her first ag. class in seventh grade, Sophi knew FFA was something she wanted to pursue. Since then, she has taken advantage of every opportunity to further her FFA career and fuel her passion for agriculture. Sophi has been on many state judging teams and has placed in many of her leadership CDE's. Sophi held the office of Secretary her sophomore year and is currently serving as the Woodlan FFA President. Sophi is also the District III Secretary. Outside of FFA, Sophi manages to stay busy. She is a member of the Woodlan Spell Bowl, Academic Bowl, Service Club, and Maumee Go-Getters 4-H group. Sophi is a Student Council Representative and was recently elected the Junior Class Vice President. In her free time, you can usually find Sophi cuddling with her cats, singing off-key to country music, or shopping for shoes. Sophi is ready to get this year started and is honored to serve as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA President!

Paige Stutzman, 1st Vice-President
Paige Stutzman, 18, is currently a senior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. Although Paige does not come from an agricultural background, she has taken advantage of every opportunity to further her career in FFA! Paige has been active in the Woodlan FFA Chapter since her freshman year, serving as the Woodlan FFA Secretary, 2nd Vice President, and now, 1st Vice President! Outside of FFA, Paige is a member of the Spirit of Woodlan Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Woodlan track team, and student council. Paige was recently elected the Senior Class Vice President. Although she manages to stay busy, she has developed a true passion for agriculture and FFA. When Paige has free time, you can find her hanging out with her cat, driving her Dodge, playing music, or making people smile. Paige is so excited for this year and is ready to make it count as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA 1st Vice President!

Kaylee Smith, 2nd Vice-President
Kaylee Smith, daughter of Mark and Beth Smith, is currently a junior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. Kaylee has served as the Woodlan FFA Sentinel and has competed in the Prepared Public Speaking contest two times. Coming from a family focused on agriculture with a rich background in FFA, it seems only fitting she would follow in their footsteps and do the same! Outside of FFA, Kaylee is highly focused on soccer, playing year-round. Recently, Kaylee was elected as the captain of the Girls Soccer Team at Woodlan. Kaylee also plays basketball and manages softball. After she graduates, Kaylee would like to go to play soccer in college and become a pharmacist. Kaylee is also highly active in the Woodlan Student Council and her church's youth group. Kaylee is pumped to be serving as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA 2nd Vice President!

Zoe Lowden, Secretary
Zoe Lowden, 16, is currently a junior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. Although she is involved in many extra-curriculars, Zoe has a passion for FFA. Zoe is a member of the Spirit of Woodlan Color Guard. She has been dancing since age 3 and has a background in tap, jazz, hip hop, and ballet. Zoe is also actively involved in her church's youth group. If she had to choose, Zoe's favorite part of FFA would be attending the leadership camps at the Indiana FFA Leadership Center. When she's not out on the field twirling flags, you can find Zoe hanging with friends(or cats), catching up on the latest episode of Teen Wolf, or singing One Direction. Zoe is thrilled to be serving as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Secretary!

Zack Wietfeldt, Treasurer
Zack Wietfeldt, 17, is currently a senior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. Zack has a passion not only for agriculture, but for America. Although he is stationed at the emblem of Washington when it comes to opening ceremonies, he is stationed by the flag in his heart. His goal in life is to graduate and live the American dream. This includes visiting every state in the U.S.A. A true outdoorsmen, Zack's favorite CDE's include forestry and Entomology. In his freedom, you can often find Zack farming, sport shooting, or playing golf. Being a member of the Woodlan golf team, Zack also loves playing golf. Zack cannot wait to begin the year and serve as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Treasurer!

Kyle Nahrwold, Reporter
Kyle Nahrwold is currently a junior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. Coming from a family farm, Kyle always knew he wanted to get involved in FFA as a high-schooler. His passion for agriculture has led him to be involved in many aspects of the industry. Kyle says his favorite CDE is Forestry because, "It has very practical uses". He also enjoys Entomology and Extemporaneous Public Speaking. When he's not at school, Kyle can be found driving tractors- only green, of course- with his dad, jamming out to the latest country hit, or telling jokes. Outside of school, Kyle works on his family farm and is the president of his 4-H club. Kyle is humbled to be chosen as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Reporter and is ready to serve you with a grateful heart!

Mike singer, 17, is currently a senior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. Highschool. Mike is a band enthusiast and plays saxophone for the Spirit of Woodlan Marching Band, Pep band, and showchoir band. Although he has a vast knowledge of music, this hasn't stopped him from focusing on the agriculture side of things as well. Mike's favorite CDE is Forestry, where he has placed at the state level. In his own words, "Trees help me connect with the world around me. They show that big or small, fat or skinny, everything has a purpose in this world". Mike is also a self-proclaimed "techno-genius" and often finds a way to work his skills into FFA events. Mike's favorite part of FFA is the wide variety of fun events offered. In his free time, Mike can be found playing Frisbee, pulling pranks, and building big bonfires. Mike is excited to take on the year and serve as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Sentinel.

Torie Moore, Historian
Torie Moore (AKA Jorie Moorie), daughter of Kelly and Rex Moore, is currently a senior at Woodlan Jr./Sr. Highschool. Because of Torie's passion for animals, specifically goats, it's no wonder her favorite ag class has quickly become animal science. Torie is an honor student and is actively involved with the Senior class. She is a senior class student council representative and was recently chosen to be the reporter for the Warrior football team. If she had to choose, Torie's greatest achievement would be working all summer pulling weeds to further her knowledge on plants. In her free time, Torie can be found singing off-key to Sam Hunt, bedazzling shirts, or eating soft pretzels. Torie's greatest goal in life is to complete all of her AP classes with all of her hair still rooted in her head. Torie is honored to serve as your 2015-2016 Woodlan FFA Historian.
